GRAPPLEDROME

Below is the official release game play trailer, screen shots and my personal work on this awesome first person shooter on Steam. I was brought on at 800 North as a concept artist and environment designer to enhance the first level and create 3 new level concepts. Creating levels for this game was a unique challenge due to the game play mechanics where players hunt others by grappling and swinging from platform to platform. The environments needed the right balance of connectivity versus openness for all of this to occur in satisfying way. Visually they were incredibly fun to work on: blending brutalist architectural references with digital textures imbued with light!
